VibeShell Terms of Service
Effective: July 21, 2026
Article 1 (Purpose)
These terms govern the conditions and procedures for using VibeShell (a mobile SSH · SFTP client, "Service") provided by We've Solutions ("Company"), and the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of the user and the Company.
Article 2 (Definitions)
- Service — The VibeShell iOS · Android applications and related features provided by the Company.
- User — Any person who installs and uses the Service.
- Connection info — Host · port · username · password · SSH key · code snippets and other remote-server access data entered into the Service by the user.
Article 3 (Description of Service)
The Service provides the following core features:
- Remote server access via the SSH protocol
- File transfer and management via SFTP
- Terminal emulation (split view · multi-session · tabs · history)
- SSH key generation · management · biometric protection (Face ID · Touch ID · fingerprint)
- Port forwarding, code snippets, native prompt input, Keep-Alive · auto-reconnect
A Rust-based SSH core is used for memory safety and performance.
Article 4 (Effect and Amendment of Terms)
These terms take effect for every user who installs and uses the Service. The Company may amend these terms within applicable law and will announce amendments in the app or on the website at least 7 days before they take effect (or at least 30 days in advance for changes that are unfavorable to the user).
Article 5 (Provision and Changes)
The Company may modify the Service to improve quality or as required by policy and may temporarily suspend parts of it for operational or technical reasons, with prior notice where possible. If the Service is discontinued, users will be informed at least 30 days in advance via in-app notice or the website. Connection info and snippets stored locally by the user remain on the user's device after discontinuation.
Article 6 (Connection Info · Privacy)
Connection info entered into the Service (host · port · username · password · SSH keys, etc.) is stored only in the secure storage of the user's device (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore) and is not transmitted to or stored on our servers. For details, see the VibeShell Privacy Policy.
Article 7 (User Responsibilities)
Users may not:
- Use the Service to access servers without proper authorization
- Use another person's SSH keys · passwords · connection info without authorization
- Distribute malware, attempt intrusions, or place undue load on target servers
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
- Otherwise violate applicable law or these terms
Users are responsible for the safe handling of their own authentication material (SSH keys, passwords, etc.).
Article 8 (Intellectual Property)
- Copyright and IP in the Service belong to the Company. Users may not commercially use, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service's content without the Company's prior written consent.
- Content that users create using the Service (settings · snippets · session logs, etc.) belongs to the user.
Article 9 (Fees)
As of the effective date, VibeShell is provided free of charge. If paid features are introduced, separate paid terms · billing · refund policies will be announced in advance and require user consent. Billing and refunds will follow the policies of the Apple App Store and Google Play at the time of introduction.
Article 10 (Disclaimers)
- The Company is not responsible for the operation, data loss, or security incidents of remote servers accessed by the user.
- The Company is not responsible for harm caused by the user's mismanagement of authentication material (SSH keys · passwords, etc.).
- The Company is not responsible for failures caused by force majeure or carrier outages beyond the Company's control.
- The Service is provided "AS IS" and no fitness for any particular purpose is warranted.
Article 11 (Governing Law and Jurisdiction)
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Any dispute between the Company and the user shall be subject to the court having jurisdiction over the Company's principal office as the court of first instance.
These terms take effect on July 21, 2026.
